Los dueños

En el trabajo tenemos un fondo de pensiones privado, ya que al estar fuera de la Seguridad Social holandesa tampoco cotizamos en el sistema público de pensiones. El fondo lo gestiona ABN AMRO, que en el último año ha pasado por no sé ya cuántas manos. Para tranquilizarnos, nos han enviado un email con el siguiente mensaje:

The Government has taken over the Fortis Bank Netherlands, ABN AMRO Bank Netherlands and the Fortis Insurance companies in the Netherlands from the Fortis Holding in Belgium. This means that ABN AMRO is now owned by the Dutch Government. We are again merging with Fortis Bank Netherlands. Probably it will be one big Dutch bank, with the name ABN AMRO.

Also the Dutch government has raised the amount of savers deposits it will protect to 100,000 euros. But for ABN AMRO it is not applicable because we are now owned by the government. Therefore we are guaranteed for the full amount of savings, as long as the Dutch government is owner of ABN AMRO

Gracias a Dios, también enlazan a una página del propio banco en la que parecen tener más clara la diferencia entre Gobierno y Estado. Porque no sé a mis compañeros, pero a mí leer que "ABN AMRO is now owned by the Dutch Government" no me tranquiliza lo más mínimo.

¿Os imagináis esto mismo en España? "El Gobierno ha elevado la garantía de los depósitos hasta 100.000 euros. Pero esto no afecta al BBVA porque ahora es propiedad de Zapatero". Para que luego hablen los conspifachas de Libertad Digital del cambio de régimen.
